I am in the process of designing a new blog so I have been holding off with blog updates until I get that sorted.  If it looks like it's going to take a while to get it up and running though, I will update my current blog early next week with recent portrait sessions.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed it will be a piece of cake!

Stepping into a new territory, I recently went to a studio with fellow photographer Gary Hill and my beautiful cousin Isobel for a model shoot.  Thank you to Gary for sharing his studio expertise and to Isobel for working the camera!

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing this gorgeous baby boy at home for his first newborn portrait session.  He was 14 days old and a delight to photograph.

I just wanted to say thank you to Rachel at Ruddington Grange Golf Club for organising Sunday's Open Day.  It was a successful day and it was lovely to meet lots of happy couples.

I will be at the Ruddington Grange Golf Club on the 6th March between 11-3pm.  There will be a table plan set up to give you a ideas for your wedding and you can also have a look around the venue, meet myself and other suppliers in the industry.  The last one was a great day so please come along and say hello.

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing Lindsey and Craig's weddings at Woodborough Hall.  It was a beautiful wedding; intimate and very relaxed.

Lindsey is a stunning lady and looked truly elegant.  Lindsey and Craig are expecting their first baby next month so they have a few weeks relaxation before their new addition arrives.

Just a quick thank you to all the bride and grooms that attended the wedding fayre at The Priest House at Castle Donnington and, of course, to Jenni at The Priest House for organising a brilliant day.

Last weekend, I took a few photos of my son at home.  It's getting to be a joke now as he sees it as an opportunity to do some straight-talking bribery.  I get my photos if he gets something he wants....usually a Happy Meal or a comic which I think is pretty fair!

Hi everyone

Just to let you know I will be exhibiting at The Priest House, Castle Donnington this Sunday the 20th February.   I have photographed many weddings in their beautiful grounds and have a sample album of a wedding which took place there for viewing. There will be some great suppliers attending and if you are free, please do come along and have a look around. 

The wedding fayre is between 12-4pm.

I will be displaying at La Maison du Chic's Spring Afternoon Tea event on the 27th March 2011 from 1.30-4.00pm.  The event will be held at The Royal British Legion, Radcliffe on Trent, Nottingham.

La Maison du Chic buy and sell, and renovate vintage pieces as well as bespoke wall hangings and jewellery.  At their events they serve only on gorgeous China, great old style music and all those finishing touches that really matter.  It's old school glamour and sophistication for today.  You can also browse the stalls for bespoke pieces and grab some Easter bargains, and Mother's Day gifts at the same time!

I received another lovely thank you this time from Polly and Rob whose wedding I photographed last year:-

"By the way - we've been to a few weddings in the last few months and have to say haven't seen any photos that are a patch on yours. We might be a little biased, but every time we see a set we are always so thankful that we had you to record our day!

We did receive the album and absolutely love it, the pictures and layout are brilliant and I loved how you notice so much more about the pictures when they're actually 'real'.  Will be joining your facebook group - a recommending you to anyone that asks without hesitation!
